About the Role
Reporting directly to the Town Council, the Town Manager serves as Camp Verde’s chief administrative officer, providing strategic leadership and oversight of daily municipal operations. The Town Manager leads a talented executive team, fosters collaboration across departments, and builds strong partnerships with businesses, community organizations, regional agencies, and residents. This role is instrumental in advancing the Town’s priorities, supporting sustainable growth, strengthening economic development, and ensuring high-quality services for the community.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in local government leadership, with a strong background in organizational management, financial stewardship, and public service. A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance, human resources, or a related field and at least five years of progressively responsible local government experience are required. Advanced education, extensive municipal leadership experience, and professional credentials such as the ICMA-CM designation are highly desirable.
