Position Overview
Reporting to the City Manager, the Director of Finance oversees all municipal financial operations, including:
- Accounting and financial reporting
- Annual operating and capital budgeting
- Long-range financial planning and forecasting
- Debt issuance and treasury management
- Procurement and purchasing operations
- Risk management and internal controls
- Financial systems modernization and ERP optimization
The Director serves as a trusted advisor to City leadership and elected officials, providing strategic financial guidance that supports operational excellence, fiscal sustainability, and community priorities.
