Under minimal supervision, plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the department including building inspections, plan review, permitting, facility maintenance, code enforcement, health inspection, and waste management; coordinate assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies; provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Executive Director of Developmental Services, Deputy City Manager and the City Manager; and perform other duties as assigned.
