Seminole County Supervisor of Elections is a constitutional office which prides itself on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of elections in Seminole County, Florida. The office exists to serve people, facilitate the electoral process, and ensure successful, secure and transparent election administration. The Administrative Services Director is a senior leadership position serving as a strategic advisor to the Supervisor of Elections and a key member of the executive leadership team. The position provides office-wide leadership across administration, finance, budgeting, human resources, organizational development, employee engagement, and executive initiatives.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree, CPA, CFE, SHRM/SCP or comparable professional credential preferred. Additionally, seven (7) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in administration, finance, budgeting, human resources, organizational operations or public-sector management, including experience advising executive leadership, is required. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial reporting, organizational initiatives and employee engagement; government or election administration experience is preferred. A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
