Expected Hiring Range: $150,000-$175,000
The Village of Bellevue (population 17,000) seeks an experienced, collaborative and forward-thinking municipal leader to serve as its next Village Administrator.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in municipal operations, organizational leadership, financial management, strategic planning, human resources, economic development and intergovernmental relations. This individual will exercise sound judgment, balance competing priorities and provide effective leadership while advancing the policies and strategic direction established by the Village Board.

$150,000–$175,000 (DOQ)

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, Political Science or a closely related field required. A master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) or a related discipline strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible municipal government management experience, including significant supervisory and organizational leadership responsibilities.
- Experience as a Village Administrator, City Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Department Director or in a comparable executive leadership position preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, municipal budgeting and financial management, economic development, human resources, labor relations, policy development and intergovernmental relations.
- Experience working directly with elected officials and governing bodies, including preparing policy recommendations and official reports and implementing Board-adopted policies and priorities.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
