Hiring Range: $145,000-$160,000
The City of Antigo (population 8,100) seeks a City Administrator with strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with the ability to advance economic development, organizational effectiveness, and community priorities that support Antigo’s long-term stability and vitality. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative leadership style, value transparency, and demonstrate practical, solution-oriented decision-making while working closely with elected officials, staff, and residents.
The successful candidate will be highly engaged in the community—building trusted relationships with local businesses, civic organizations, regional partners, and residents. This individual will be visible, approachable, and invested in Antigo’s future, actively participating in community life and representing the City with professionalism and pride while helping guide continued growth and long-term success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a closely related field required.
- Master’s Degree in Public Administration preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including supervision, budgeting, human resources, and community development (planning/engineering).
