The Fire Chief provides executive leadership for all departmental functions, including emergency response and incident command, EMS, fire prevention, training, and administration. Reporting to the Police Chief/Director of Public Safety, the Fire Chief balances hands-on operational leadership with staff development, fiscal stewardship, and long-range planning. This role requires a trusted, collaborative leader who works effectively with elected officials, commissions, staff, and the community to deliver reliable, high-quality emergency services.
