Veterinarian
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or V.M.D. (Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris).
- Licensure: Licensed as a Veterinarian by the State of Texas and holds a DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in or familiarity with both shelter medicine and exotic animal care, with opportunities for training provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills for public education and collaboration with veterinary staff.
- A passion for community service and the ability to split time effectively between the animal shelter and zoo.
